Be Money $mart

Our Be Money $mart financial literacy initiative raises awareness about the current state of financial literacy across Pennsylvania and provides people with tools they can use to help them on their journey to financial independence.

File A Report

In addition to the thousands of audits we produce each year, we may review allegations of improper use of state tax dollars if the subject of the audit is within our statutory authority, and our resources permit.

If our review indicates possible misuse, we will consider incorporating the issue(s) into an audit or a special report. We do not have the authority to review the use of federal, county, or local tax dollars.

We created a special page that houses helpful information on when and how to file a report with us, and when and how to report your concern to another agency.

Right to Know Law Requests

Pennsylvania’s Right to Know Law (RTKL) gives people access to the public records of government agencies. Visit our RTKL webpage to read our policy, find out how to submit a RTKL request, and access associated resources.
