Peer Review Report
Every three years, we participate in a rigorous peer review of our system of quality control. We were most recently reviewed on June 12, 2024 by auditors from various state audit organizations, as well as the US Department of Health and Human Services. Resources for VFRAs
We distribute state aid for Volunteer Firefighter Relief Associations (VFRAs), which provide equipment, insurance, and other forms of support to volunteer firefighters and the volunteer firefighter service. We developed a one-stop-shop featuring resources to help VFRAs ensure they comply with applicable state laws, contracts, bylaws, and administrative procedures that govern the use of state aid.
Municipal Pension Plan Resources
The Public Employee Retirement Commission (PERC) was abolished by Act 100 of 2016, and the former commission’s duties relating to municipal pension reporting and analysis were transferred to us through our Municipal Pension Reporting Program. We created a one-stop-shop featuring reports, data, and documents for municipalities.
