The compliance audit of the Upper Frankford Township Firemen’s Relief Association (January 1, 2021 – December 31, 2023) aimed to determine if the association addressed prior audit findings and adhered to relevant laws, contracts, bylaws, and procedures regarding state aid and expenditure of funds. The audit concluded that the association took appropriate corrective actions and remained compliant in all significant respects. With a total cash balance of $71,049 and expenditures of $67,170, the association’s financial management was found to be satisfactory. The audit also found a minor unauthorized sales tax payment, but it was deemed insignificant. The cooperation of the relief association officials was appreciated by the auditors.
