About This Audit

A compliance audit was conducted on the Millville Borough Police Pension Plan for the period from January 1, 2020, to December 31, 2023, to determine compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The audit assessed whether municipal officials addressed a prior finding and ensured the pension plan was operated per state laws, regulations, contracts, and policies. Methods used included verifying state aid deposits, analyzing employer and employee contributions, and confirming the submission of actuarial reports in line with Act 205 requirements. The Millville Police Pension participates in the Pennsylvania Municipal Retirement System (PMRS). The audit concluded that, in all significant aspects, the plan complied with all relevant requirements. The report acknowledges coordination with borough officials during the audit process.
