About This Audit

The independent auditor conducted an attestation engagement to examine the Form MS-965 with Adjustments for the Liquid Fuels Tax Fund of the Township of Loyalsock, Lycoming County, for the period from January 1, 2023 to December 31, 2023. The audit was performed according to standards set by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Government Auditing Standards, and the findings confirmed that the form is prepared in all material respects as required by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. No material weaknesses or non-compliance instances were identified during the examination. The examination’s purpose was to ensure the township’s Liquid Fuels Tax Fund expenditures comply with relevant laws and regulations, primarily relating to local road maintenance funding from the state’s Motor License Fund, and is not intended for any other purpose. The auditor expressed gratitude for the township’s cooperation during the process.
