About This Audit
The compliance audit of Ralpho Fire Co. #1 Relief Association, covering January 1, 2022, to December 31, 2023, aimed to determine both compliance with prior audit findings and adherence to state laws and regulations related to state aid and funds expenditure. The audit, supported by various legislative authorities, was not conducted per Government Auditing Standards and faced challenges in independently confirming portions of cash and investment balances. The audit confirmed corrective actions on previous findings and general compliance with applicable laws, even though certain balances could not be independently verified. The relief association’s total cash and investments amounted to $106,733, with $3,873 in total expenditures during the period audited. Officials are encouraged to maintain compliance with all legal and procedural obligations. The report was shared with relevant municipal and organizational stakeholders.
