A Limited Procedures Engagement (LPE) was conducted on the North Sewickley Township Volunteer Fire Department Firemen’s Relief Association in Beaver County, Pennsylvania, for the period from January 1, 2021, to December 31, 2023. The audit aimed to ensure compliance with the Volunteer Firefighters’ Relief Association Act and assess if funds were used appropriately. The engagement checked that $90,372 in expenditures were legally executed and verified proper receipt and deposit of state aid funds. Throughout the process, officials were interviewed, and financial documents such as bank statements and meeting minutes were reviewed.
