St. Luke’s Hospital Carbon – Carbon County – Amended Financial Report for the Period July 1, 2022 to June 30, 2023

The report provides an amended financial review of Lehigh Valley Hospital Dickson City’s operations from July 1, 2022, to June 30, 2023. Conducted by request of the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services, the procedures aimed to verify the costs reported in Form MA-336 for setting Medical Assistance reimbursement rates. The report included several adjustments to align with actual data provided by the DHS from their PROMISe™ system. Adjustments were made to Medical Assistance (MA) days and discharges for the Diagnostic Related Groupings, while total costs and charges were confirmed as accurate without change. Despite some data having undetermined reliability, the report certifies the hospital’s costs as reasonably stated. This document is for DHS’s use in determining reimbursement rates.
