About This Audit
The auditor’s report for the Township of East Hempfield’s Liquid Fuels Tax Fund covers the period from January 1, 2021, to December 31, 2023. The independent auditors examined Forms MS-965 With Adjustments to determine compliance with the criteria set by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation and found that the forms presented the required information in all material respects. The report was conducted following the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Government Auditing Standards. The auditors noted that their task was not to express an opinion on internal controls or compliance, and they did not identify material weaknesses in internal controls. Additionally, the audit discovered no instances of noncompliance affecting the Forms MS-965. The purpose of this report was to ensure funds were used appropriately, in compliance with the relevant laws and regulations, and it is not suitable for other uses.
