Who Are We?
The Department of the Auditor General is Pennsylvania’s chief fiscal watchdog. That means we’re responsible for ensuring that taxpayer dollars are spent legally and properly.
In addition to employing over 300 auditors, we have several administrative offices.
We’ve been here for a while, too – more than 200 years, if you’re counting.
